Tolleshunt Knights Parish Council is the tier of local government responsible for the village of Tolleshunt Knights. The village lies 1 mile east of Tiptree, is part of the Tolleshunt D’Arcy Ward of Maldon District Council and is within the Parliamentary Constituency of Witham. It has a population of some 1,300 and is home to the Orthodox Monastery of St John the Baptist and the Potters Resorts Five Lakes.
The Parish Council meets at 7.30pm on the third Monday of each month – Meetings, Minutes and Reports

What is this? A number of residents have been asking
A number of residents have asked us about the aerial devices that have appeared on multiple street light columns and poles in the local area.
Apparently they are LoRaWAN Gateways installed by Connexin for the purposes of data communication for smart water meters in Essex.
ECC has given approval for the installation of these devices on selected lighting columns across Essex and work is currently taking place to install an additional 300 LoRaWAN Gateways in the Districts of Chelmsford, Maldon and Colchester.
